Long overdue update!!

Ok, soit's been a few months...or six :) I have heard from Kevin at Green House Orphanage recently and everyone seems to be doing great and healthy! A few months ago, they had an addition to the GHO family, a baby named Ashley. They got her when she was just a week old, how awesome that they were able to take her in and give her a home. Look how cute!

Funds are still being raised for a new dormitory which willcost about $15,000. Praying that God will raise up these funds! The children are still in a small, confined space and sharing beds, etc.

As for me, planning a trip for 2011 back to Uganda to visit the children and hopefully, give Catherine a bit of break!

FashionEastA is going great and I continue to bring on about 2-3 appointments a month. Right now, with school still, full time work, etc. I can't take much more! So I'm looking forward to more free time to spend on this passion! In March, I have registered to attend Stacy London's (What Not to Wear) workshop in NYC! Stacy teaches a two day work shop on the science and art of styling. After the completion of this work shop, I will be "style certified" ;) whoo hoo! Very, VERY excited about this!!!

I know there are thousands and thousands of orphans in the world, and sometimes I think, is it ok that I'm just helping 66 right now and not thousands? Well, I guess if everyone thought like that...no one would be helped in this world! Thankful for everyone that has ever decided to give of their time, energy and resources to take of care of someone who is without. "To whom much is given, much is required" That's what makes the world go round! Anyway...thanks again for the support! $2,500 has come in so far for FashionEastA...it goes a looooong way in Africa!

OH! and how can I forget?! With the help of my friend Nicole, I designed my first FashionEastA t-shirt!! Buy one for just $20 and give one to someone special..or for yourself :)
